The Boothbay Harbor Police Department has announced that a winter parking ban will be in effect for all streets in Boothbay Harbor from Nov. 15 through March 31, during the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily.

The ban is also in effect during inclement weather conditions whenever the Department of Public Works deems it necessary. These additional hours will be announced on local news media.

Any illegally parked cars will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

Parking is available in the Boothbay Harbor municipal parking lot, in designated spaces.
