Wannawaf is proud to announce that this year's Charity Waffle Eating Contest is benefiting Boothbay Region Community Resource Council's Set for Success Program. The contest is being held on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m.

The Set for Success program provides every student in the Boothbay region with all the necessary school students need to be ready for the school year.

There is a $20 entrance fee for the waffle eating contest, all of which will be donated to

Boothbay Region Community Resource Council.

A 50/50 raffle will be held immediately following the waffle eating contest. You may purchase raffle tickets until the drawing time. The silent auction opens at 12:30 p.m. and is open for the duration on the contest and awards ceremony.

Raffle ticket prices are: one ticket, $1; six tickets, $5; thirty-five tickets, $20.

If you are present for the drawing you may collect your prize immediately otherwise you will be notified via phone call.
