The Boothbay Harbor Police Department reminds motorists that the winter parking ban is in effect for all streets in Boothbay Harbor.

Parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on the street is prohibited. Parking along public ways is also prohibited during snow removal, no matter the time. Illegally parked cars will be towed at the owner’s expense.

This ban, from Nov. 15 to March 31, is to allow plow and sand trucks access to the streets to keep them safe for drivers.
