The Boothbay Fire Department will hold a training session with a controlled burn of a large house at 30 Sea Ledge Road, which is located off Fort Island Road and Back Narrows Road, on Saturday, Dec. 3.

“We will be shuttling water from Route 96 and we hope to get started about 7 a.m. on that Saturday,” said Boothbay Fire Chief Dick Spofford. “If it is windy that day, the training won’t be held.”
