Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) is offering its annual Barge/McKee Scholarship for students involved in the study of the environment. This is very broadly defined and can include subjects such as ecology, civil engineering or horticulture. We accept applicants of any age, and any learning endeavor, as long as you are a resident of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport or Edgecomb. Scholarship awards range from $250 to $2,500.

Applicants are only asked to write a letter describing the program, camp, or course of study; what they hope to learn; and how it relates to the environment.
