Lions Club fundraiser at the Watershed Tavern & Craft Brewery
On Friday, March 28 from 5 to 8 p.m., the Watershed Tavern at 301 Adams Pond Road in Boothbay will host an open house and fundraiser event for the Boothbay Region Lions Club.
Lori and Win Mitchell, the owners of Boothbay Craft Brewery and the Watershed Tavern, are members of the Lions Club and want to help donate towards the Clubhouse Fund. The clubhouse, purchased in 1960, needs around $25,000 worth of repairs to remain usable.
The Mitchells have crafted a special beer for that night, called Lions T-Ale. One hundred percent of sales of the Lions T-Ale will go towards the Lions clubhouse fund, along with $1 from the sale of all other drinks. There will be light fare served and members of the Lions Club will be on hand to talk about the 60-year history of the club and sign up new members.
There will also be a silent auction and raffle to raise money for the Lions Clubhouse.
This will be a cash-only event, with no credit cards taken that night. There is an ATM on premises.
