Car clips utility pole, no injuries

A Toyota RAV 4 headed southbound toward Boothbay clipped a utility pole at 5:11 p.m. on November 13.
The accident happened near the Boothbay Animal Hospital on Route 27 and caused power outages to nearby homes.
Traffic was rerouted to the McKay Road for nearly 45 minutes, while Central Maine Power workers repaired the power lines.
No injuries were reported, according to Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The Boothbay Region Ambulance Service, the Boothbay Fire Department and Edgecomb Fire Department all responded to the scene.
