No injuries in two-car accident

A two-car accident occurred in front of the Boothbay Railway Village at 9:12 a.m. on August 1.
A Subaru Forester driven by Frederick Fahlsing, 70, of West Gardiner, was pulling into the entrance of the Railway Village when a southbound Buick Century driven by Michael Andretta, 22, of Wiscasset, failed to stop in time, and slammed into the back of Fahlsing’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported, but each vehicle sustained damages estimated around $4,000 to $6,000, according to the responding officer, Deputy Brian Callamore of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
The Boothbay Fire Department and G & G Towing responded the scene of the accident, as traffic continued to flow on Route 27.
