Sales of wood block paintings benefit foundation

Sales of wood block paintings of St. Andrews Hospital are set to help fund the Boothbay Region Health and Wellness Foundation.
Mark Gimbel of Gimbel & Sons Country Store on Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor is donating $5 from the sale of each of the St. Andrews wood block paintings to the foundation.
The foundation is raising funds to keep the hospital's emergency room open.
Gimbel has also helped raise funds for the Opera House and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens through the sales of wood block paintings.
