On June 12, the Community on Track committee held a fundraiser at the Spruce Point Inn raising $1,428 toward its goal of building an 8-lane championship track to the peninsula.

This track will be used for student athletes, community members and will be a venue for state and local track meets as well as other special events. Everyone who attended had a great time and we hope to hold more events like this in the future. Thanks to all who participated.

Our next fundraising event is the annual Lobster Roll 5k walk/run. Show your support and run or walk on Saturday July 27. The 5k race starts at 8 a.m. with the kids' fun run at 9.
