Youth invited to join church school and service program
The Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor invites youth of all ages to join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School and our Youth Service Program. We offer childcare for babies and toddlers, Sunday school for children ages three through fifth grade and we have two different opportunities for youth in grades six through twelve to participate.
Our Youth Service Group meets on Sunday mornings to work on service projects that serve our church, our community and our world. In addition, junior and senior youth fellowship groups meet twice a month at various times and places for social get togethers and service projects. This year our youth will work on projects that support Safe Passage, Fuel Assistance, the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together and activities will include fundraising for a week-long mission trip in 2015.
We will kick off the new school year on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. There will be a sandwich and salad potluck directly following church at 11 for children and their families. For more information about youth programs and for registration forms visit the Sunday school blog at www.congokidz.blogspot.com, email us at congokids@gmail.com or call Deanne Tibbetts, Children's Education Director at 207-633-4283.
To volunteer to help with the Rally Day potluck, please call Jen Ross at 207-837-9933 or email rossjmj@hotmail.com. If you would like to volunteer in our youth programs there is a volunteer signup
