"How To Train Your Dragon" - (1 hour, 56 minutes) - On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Mason Thames) stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his voice role from the animated franchise), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society. With the fierce and ambitious Astrid (BAFTA nominee Nico Parker) and the village's quirky blacksmith Gobber (Nick Frost) by his side, Hiccup confronts a world torn by fear and misunderstanding. As an ancient threat emerges, endangering both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup's friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader. “How to Train Your Dragon is spectacular. A visually stunning and emotionally engaging retelling of the animated classic. Director Dean DeBlois recreates the magic of the original with lots of action, humor and heart. Mason Thames as Hiccup is the definition of perfect casting as is the majority of this cast. Prepare to fall in love with Toothless all over again. How to Train Your Dragon is a must see on the big screen and is a reminder to why audiences love going to the movies. This is going to be a massive hit.” – Scott Menzel, We Live Entertainment

"Jane Austen Wrecked My Life" - (R; 1 hour, 38 minutes) - A charming contemporary romance that blends literary nostalgia with fresh, French flair. The film follows Agathe Robinson (Camille Rutherford) —an aspiring writer stuck in a quiet life of routine at Shakespeare & Co. bookstore in Paris. Haunted by past trauma and paralyzed by self-doubt, Agathe yearns for the sweeping love stories she devours in books but struggles to write her own. Unbeknownst to her, Agathe’s loyal best friend Felix (Pablo Pauly) submits her unfinished manuscript to the prestigious Jane Austen Residency in England—and she’s accepted. Faced with the opportunity of a lifetime, Agathe must summon the courage to step beyond her comfort zone. In the English countryside, she’s greeted by Oliver (Charlie Anson), a literature professor and descendant of Austen herself. Though their first impressions clash, a slow-burning connection begins to grow. Just as sparks start to fly, Felix arrives unexpectedly, stirring up feelings that challenge Agathe’s heart—and her next chapter. Witty, heartfelt, and full of romantic tension, "Jane Austen Wrecked My Life" is a love letter to second chances, personal courage, and the timeless magic of Austen-inspired storytelling. Opening Friday, June 27 at 7 p.m.
