Two car accident backs up Boothbay traffic

The driver of a black Saab stood near her smashed car shortly after noon Wednesday in Boothbay Harbor. The Saab and a white Jeep Cherokee collided near Hammond Lumber. Although the damage to both cars was substantial, there didn’t appear to be any major injuries. BEN BULKELEY/Boothbay Register

A two car accident tied up traffic at noon October 16 in Boothbay Harbor after a Saab and Jeep collided near Hammond Lumber on Route 27.
There did not appear to be any major injuries, although airbags deployed in both vehicles. Boothbay Harbor Fire and Police arrived at the scene before noon and shortly after both vehicles were off the road.
