Thanksgiving Day Community Feast
Don't feel like cooking another Thanksgiving dinner this year? Or for whatever the circumstances may be, will you be alone this Thanksgiving?
Members of American Legion Post #36, the Legion Auxilliary, and chefs and bakers throughout the community are serving up a full, traditional Thanksgiving feast for the community on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28.
Dinner will be served from noon to 3 p.m. The aromas of the Thanksgiving meal is one our sensory memories remember so well ... There's nothing quite like it. You will enjoy roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, breads, desserts, and beverages at the Legion Hall, 25 Industrial Park Road in Boothbay.
Reservations are necessary. Call Sue Burge at 350-1581 by Friday, Nov. 22. Leave a message if she doesn't get to the phone in time. Whether you speak to her or leave a message, include your first and last name, phone number, and how many people you are making the reservation for.
Want to dine at the Hall, but need a ride? Call Robin at 670-2965. Leave a message with your name and phone number.
Donations are welcome, but not necessary!
