The Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team fell to 1-1 on the season with a 4-1 loss to the Hall-Dale Bulldogs at BRHS on Wednesday, April 30.

First singles player Laura Chapman provided Boothbay's only match win with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Marinn Perry.

In second singles, Grace Leach defeated Hannah Kreft, 6-2, 6-0.

Robin Asch defeated Izzy Andreasen, 6-2, 6-2 in third singles.

In the only doubles match (Boothbay forfeited the second doubles match), Haven Desrosiers and Parula Clark defeated Abby Orchard and Maddie Andreasen in a close match, 7-6 (9-7), 2-6, 7-6 (7-4).
