Rev. Peter Panagore to preach at Wilson Memorial Chapel July 8
The Reverend Peter Baldwin Panagore of Ocean Point will preach on Sunday, July 8, at 9:30 a.m. The popular Maine Celtic duo Castlebay will provide music.
Early in 2018, Rev. Peter Baldwin Panagore, MDiv, Yale, ended 15 years on broadcast TV across Maine and into New Hampshire as the writer, executive producer, and storyteller of Daily Devotions, reaching 30 million views a year on News Center Maine, and bringing hope, love and inspiration to all in 270 words or less. Peter wrote and produced 1700 scripts and spots for TV and FM in his time as the minister of First Radio Parish Church of America, 1926-2018.
While previously serving as the minister of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, UCC, Peter wrote and published 150 sermons for Homiletics journal. He is the author of two books, “Two Minutes For God: Quick Fixes For The Spirit” (Simon & Schuster), and “Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just The Beginning” (Hampton Roads). Peter is at work on his third book on modern mysticism in the lives of everyday people.
In addition to writing during his severance salary period, Peter is focusing on a business venture that will allow him to work for God and be self-funded. Peter is a two-time Near Death Experiencer and a nationally touring public speaker.
