Rebuilding Together-Lincoln County (RT-LC) will hold a BEER + WINE + DINNER fall fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 8 at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and feature a four-course meal paired with local craft beer and gourmet wines. A silent auction is also on the itinerary.

RT-LC helps neighbors in need who own their own homes but are unable to make needed repairs because of physical handicap or financial hardship. An all-volunteer, donation-funded, 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, RT-LC is counting on this event to raise much needed funds for projects on tap in 2020.

The four-course meal will be prepared by highly regarded local chef Ralph Smith of Mine Oyster and will be served alongside local craft beers and gourmet wines chosen specifically to complement the food selections.

Lori Mitchell of Boothbay Craft Brewery and her brother, Brian Lewis of Folktale Wine Group, are donating the beverages.

“My brother and I grew up in the area and feel strongly about the good work Rebuilding Together does,” said Lori. “We’re happy to support the organization in any way we can.”

The silent auction will feature a broad array of items, mostly from local merchants, restaurants and organizations. Among the items expected to garner a lot of attention is an opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a 2020 Portland Sea Dogs baseball game. Four tickets to the game are also included.
