One man’s photos of Monday’s storm damage looks like a skidder went through the area near his home on Lakeside Drive, Boothbay Harbor. The accompanying photos were taken on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Ben Borkowski took pictures of the many trees which fell and broke power, telephone and cable television lines.
“It looks like a micro burst went through here,” said Borkowski. “The line of trees makes it appear that way.”
Borkowski said the weak root system in the area, due to the ledges which line the road, probably contributed to the amount of trees that fell.
“But even some trees snapped due to the high winds,” said Borkowski.
