More than 120 community members, families and friends gathered together at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay on Dec. 25 for a Christmas dinner.

Many businesses and individuals made this possible again this year: Big Al's, Pinkham's Gourmet Market, Eventide, Shaw's Supermarket, The Bistro, Hannaford Supermarket, Newcastle Chrysler, Boothbay Region Greenhouses, Boothbay Region Community Fellowship, and the American Legion all helped and gave generously.

Bob Moore of Ocean Point once again entertained on the piano while the attendees enjoyed the delicious food served buffet style.

In a Facebook post, the organizers wrote, “We can't even begin to name the great number of individuals who selflessly served, baked, gave rides, cleaned, decorated, donated toys and coats, and prepared gift bags for each who came. We are so grateful to all of you and are thankful again for such a family of people on this peninsula!”
