The public is invited to The Lincoln Home Monday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 4 p.m. to learn about a massive online international history project supported by thousands of volunteers across the globe. Val Lovelace will share information about how it works, and demonstrate what it looks like. Finally, she will run a few searches for those who would like to see if their loved ones have been documented and/or grave site catalogued and photographed. Val is a Find-a-Grave volunteer and has photographed nearly 12,000 headstones in old Maine cemeteries along the coast.
