The 56th Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund annual fund drive is now underway. The goal is an ambitious $250,000, a target that was achieved last year with outstanding community support.

The BRSAF provides need-based grants to BRHS graduates to reduce the cost of post-high school education or training. This past year, the BRSAF was able to award $405,000 in grants, an all-time high. Of the 82 recipients in 2019, twelve are attending community college, 69 are attending a four-year institution, and one is pursuing graduate studies. By keeping mailing costs low, the all-volunteer BRSAF board is able to direct 95% of donations to grants and to generate monies for the future.
