Spring is coming soon and veterans’ banners will start to reappear on telephone poles throughout Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, East Boothbay, Edgecomb and Southport in May.  Orders came in steadily all winter, and newly completed banners arrived last week bringing the region’s total to 525! 

We would love to honor you or your veteran with a banner this Memorial Day. The deadline to submit an application in order to get it produced in time and delivered to the region’s towns is March 1. The cost to order a banner is $200 and an application form and photograph is needed, preferably in uniform to complete the process. 

Banner requests will also be available at the Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor town [Text Wrapping Break]offices.  Orders will continue to be accepted throughout the spring and summer, but we must hear from you by March 1st in order to have your banner displayed by Memorial Day.
