Addie Barter wins raffle at West Harbor Pond plant sale
Addie Barter of Boothbay was the raffle winner at the first-ever West Harbor Pond Watershed Association Plant Sale.
Barter received a $25 gift certificate to Conley’s Garden Center and a Forget-Me-Not bouquet.
The plant sale featured over 200 indoor and outdoor plants and attendance exceeded expectations. Many community gardeners bought lovely plantings for their homes and gardens.
The WHPWA thanks the Boothbay Region Greenhouses and Conley’s Garden Center for their generous donations, WHPWA members for their plant contributions and effort in organizing the event, and the entire community for their support in helping us to raise funds for our water quality testing program.
The WHPWA is a nonprofit established to educate the watershed community and area residents about the need to preserve and protect this natural resource. For more information about WHPWA and its various programs, please send an email to thewhpwa@gmail.com.
