MUSEUM ADMISSIONS/TICKET AGENT Reports to: Business Manager Location: Boothbay Railway Village Museum, Boothbay Maine Employment Type: Part-time, Seasonal The Boothbay Railway Village Museum is seeking a candidate with exceptional customer service skills, who will be responsible for greeting and welcoming all visitors, including walk-ins, group and bus tours, into Freeport Station and the Museum. In addition to selling admissions/train tickets, memberships, and Guided Tours, tasks for this position include opening and closing the Square register, providing historical information about the Museum, exhibits, and surrounding region to visitors, keeping the Freeport Train Station and office organized and clean, and maintaining an inviting environment for all members and visitors. This is a seasonal (mid-June through mid-October), part-time position. Days and hours needed are Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30-5:30, with some flexibility in scheduling possible. The Museum is open to the public from 10:00-5:00. Applicants with experience in sales and customer service are preferred. Applicants who have interest in history, who are punctual and friendly, with a positive attitude, are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on experience.
