Golf for area boys and girls will be a club sport this year.

All practices and matches will be at Boothbay Harbor Country Club, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

High school boys and girls will be varsity while junior high boys and girls will be on the JV and development teams.

The season begins now and will last through Saturday, Oct. 6.

Personal golf clubs and other golf equipment is not required to participate on the teams.
