YMCA initiates new volunteer portal
Working in conjunction with Y-USA, the Boothbay Region YMCA and Central Lincoln County YMCA are launching a new volunteer management system called VolunteerMatters beginning Monday, Feb. 13. To register, please visit the portal page at brymcaandclcymca.volunteermatters.org or stop by the Boothbay Region YMCA Feb. 13 through Feb. 26 during our VolunteerMatters kickoff. A kiosk will be set up in our lobby and staff will be available to help if needed.
The portal is easy to use and allows volunteers to register for events that best suit their interests and talents. Once registered, you can view all volunteer news, manage your volunteer assignments, update your account and browse any new volunteer opportunities.
The system takes a holistic and innovative approach to improving and protecting volunteer programs. It’s not just about facilitating volunteer coordination, it’s also about nurturing relationships and creating value — about risk prevention and security — and helping to make volunteer opportunities extraordinary.
By volunteering through the Y, you'll improve our community, make new friends, and feel the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve made a real impact. Thank you for being a part of this important work—together, we’re building a better us.
The vision of the Boothbay Region YMCA is to nurture the potential of youth, promote healthy living for all, and foster social responsibility.
