Y-Arts juniors to perform play

The Y-Arts Junior Theatre Workshop members have been busy preparing to present "Frog and Toad KIDS." Performances are this Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Boothbay Playhouse. Tickets are only available at the door; $10 for adults, youth are free.
Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends — the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad — through four fun-filled seasons.
Directed by Emily Mirabile, the 25 member cast includes Rachel Barter, Jordan Chamness, Callan Eason, Mia Eason, Zoe Eason, Mara Gentry, Emme Harris, Sarah Harris, Titan Lewis, Kestrel Linehan, Alexandra Nein, Katy Nien, Lily Nein, Spencer Pottle, Beatrix Recoing-Tallen, Alex Ross, Jackson Ross, Aelia Russell, Sophia Scott, Alyson Shook, Molly Shook, YuJi Smith, Madelyn Teele, Trey Tibbetts and Sadie Yentsch.
