The Boothbay Region YMCA Y Arts program is holding three upcoming fundraisers to help with travel costs associated with the Y Arts Competition Team trip to Orlando, Florida for the National Performing Arts Festival in February 2023. There are 26 children on the team.

There is a 50/50 raffle with tickets ($20) available from Arts and Humanities Director Emily Mirabile and many of the Y Arts parents and performers. The drawing will take place Aug. 1.

Donation jars have been distributed to some of the local businesses in the Boothbay region.

On July 18 at 6 p.m., Mirabile and senior performers Emerson Harris and Phoebe Cook will be performing musical theater favorites at the Lincoln Theater, with donations earmarked for the trip.

On Sunday, July 24 from 3 to 5 p.m., there will be a karaoke fundraiser at Cook’s Landing Pizzeria and Pub in Edgecomb.
