Begin the New Year with a visit to the Bath Antique Sale. This antiques and collectibles marketplace offers a one-stop venue for the curious shopper and seasoned collector alike. The gymnasium of the Bath Middle School is transformed into a comfortable shopping venue, complete with a café serving delicious fare. More than forty knowledgeable dealers of antique furniture, rugs, china, crystal, silver, books, prints, paintings, linens, ephemera and collectibles form this colorful and eclectic market. In an effort to introduce the younger audience into the joys of antiquing, admission is free to those born before 1994.
The Bath Antique Sale takes place on Sunday, Jan. 13. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the sale runs until 2 p.m. at the Bath Middle School, 6 Old Brunswick Road in Bath. It is easily accessible from the Congress Avenue exit of U.S. Route 1. Posted signs will direct drivers the short distance to the school. Admission is $5; $4 with the ad from this publication or a show sale card, or free if you were born in or after 1994.
