Dear Editor:

Not long ago, my husband and I were overwhelmed at the level of service received when we took our minivan for routine maintenance at Dan’s Auto Repair. Not only was his service person pleasant and courteous, but Dan himself came all the way to Southport searching everywhere for our vehicle after seeing oil spots on the ground where the van had been parked.

Wanting to find the source of the problem, he took our van back to the garage. He then fixed it and brought it back to our home in timely manner at no charge. Now that’s what we call service.

We love this community and the people that make it special.
