Tue, 07/27/2021 - 8:30am

The West Harbor Pond Watershed Assocation will hold its 2021 annual meeting and potluck dinner at the Whitehead home at 322 Lakeside Drive on Sunday, Aug. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. Prior to the potluck supper, the Association will hold its annual business meeting. Then, Dr. Deborah Ann Bronk, president and CEO and senior scientist of Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will give a talk titled “Water, Health and Humans.”

During the meeting, the WHPWA will recognize a handful of individuals from the community who have been instrumental in our efforts to improve the water quality of West Harbor Pond.

For the potluck supper, the WHPWA will provide hot dogs and lemonade, so attendees are asked to bring a side dish or desert.

WHPWA members (regular and associate) and prospective members are invited to attend. However, for the safety of all we ask that you attend only if you are fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
