    “Are you There God? It’s Me, Margaret” - (PG-13; 1 hour, 45 minutes) - Eleven-year-old Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson) is uprooted from her life in New York City for the suburbs of New Jersey, going through the messy and tumultuous throes of puberty with new friends in a new school. She relies on her mother, Barbara (Rachel McAdams), who is also struggling to adjust to life outside the big city, and her adoring grandmother, Sylvia (Kathy Bates), who isn’t happy they moved away and likes to remind them every chance she gets. Based on the beloved classic novel by Judy Blume. Final showtime Thursday, July 6 at 2 p.m.

    National Theatre Live: “Good” - (3 hours) - David Tennant (Staged, Doctor Who, Broadchurch,) makes a much-anticipated return to the West End in a blistering reimagining of one of Britain’s most powerful, political plays “Good.” As the world faces its Second World War, John Halder, a good, intelligent German professor, finds himself pulled into a movement with unthinkable consequences. Olivier Award-winner Dominic Cooke (Follies) directs C.P. Taylor’s timely tale, with a cast that also features Elliot Levey (Coriolanus) and Sharon Small (The Bay). Filmed live at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London. Playing for two screenings only, Thursday, July 6 at 7 p.m. and Friday, July 7 at 2 p.m. Tickets: $15 adult, $13 members, and $5 youth 18 and under.

    “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” - (PG; 2 hours, 20 minutes) - A NY Times Critics Pick! Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. Playing Friday, July 7 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, July 8 at 2 and 7 p.m.; Sunday, July 9 at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 12 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Thursday, July 13 at 1 p.m. (note early start time).

    “The Neverending Story” - (PG; 1 hour, 34 minutes) - The first film in the 2023 Summer Blockbuster series.  On his way to school, Bastian (Barret Oliver) ducks into a bookstore to avoid bullies. Sneaking away with a book called “The Neverending Story,” Bastian begins reading it in the school attic. The novel is about Fantasia, a fantasy land threatened by ‘The Nothing,’ a darkness that destroys everything it touches. The kingdom needs the help of a human child to survive. When Bastian reads a description of himself in the book, he begins to wonder if Fantasia is real and needs him. Playing for two screenings only, Sunday, July 9 at 2 p.m. and Monday, July 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets: $9 adult, $6 members and youth 18 and under.
