“Petite Maman” - (PG; 1 hour, 12 minutes, French with English subtitles) - Céline Sciamma continues to prove herself as one of the most accomplished and unpredictable contemporary French filmmakers with her follow up to “Portrait Of A Lady On Fire.” Following the death of her beloved grandmother, 8-year-old Nelly accompanies her parents to her mother’s childhood home to begin the difficult process of cleaning out its contents. As Nelly explores the house and nearby woods, she is immediately drawn to a neighbor her own age building a treehouse. What follows is a tender tale of childhood grief, memory and connection. Final showings Wednesday, June 29 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m.

“Field of Dreams” - (PG; 1 hour, 46 minutes) - What better way to celebrate summer than with some old favorites on the big screen! Lincoln Theater is pleased to present the first film in our 2022 Summer Blockbuster series. When Iowa farmer Ray (Kevin Costner) hears a mysterious voice one night in his cornfield saying “If you build it, he will come,” he feels the need to act. Despite taunts of lunacy, Ray builds a baseball diamond on his land, supported by his wife, Annie (Amy Madigan). Afterward, the ghosts of great players start emerging from the crops to play ball, led by “Shoeless” Joe Jackson. But, as Ray learns, this field of dreams is about much more than bringing former baseball greats out to play. Playing Thursday, June 30 at 7 p.m. and Friday, July 1 at 2 p.m.

“Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story” - (PG13; 1 hour, 34 minutes) - Live performances and interviews are woven together from the 50th anniversary of The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the signature annual music and cultural event of the city, celebrating the music, food, people, arts & crafts, and culture of all of Louisiana since 1970. The film, shot at the 2019 Fest, features local music heroes joined on 14 stages by some of the biggest names in the music industry, as well as archival documentary footage from the past half century. Playing Friday, July 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 2 at 2 and 7 p.m., Sunday, July 3 at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 6 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Thursday, July 7 at 2 p.m.

“Henry V” – National Theater Live - (R; 3 hours) - Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) plays the title role in Shakespeare’s thrilling study of nationalism, war and the psychology of power. Fresh to the throne, King Henry V launches England into a bloody war with France. When his campaign encounters resistance, this inexperienced new ruler must prove he is fit to guide a country into war. Captured live from the Donmar Warehouse in London, this exciting modern production directed by Max Webster (“Life of Pi”) explores what it means to be English and our relationship to Europe, asking: do we ever get the leaders we deserve? There is a strobe warning for this show as Henry V contains sequences involving extended flashing or flickering light. Tickets: $15/adults, $13/ members, $5/youth. Playing Thursday, July 7 at 7 p.m.
