Walter Richard Magadieu of Sherborn, Mass., and Southport died on December 25, 2013.

He was the son of the late Walter J. and Nelle (Gordon) Magadieu.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Kortjohn) Magadieu.

He leaves four children: John R. Magadieu and his wife Cheryl of Franklin, Mass., Catherine M. Sagui and her husband Claudio of Binago, Italy, Thomas E. Magadieu and his wife Nancy of Falmouth, and Carol M. Zeroual of Boxborough, Mass. He was the brother of Rita M. Parker of Nashua, N.H.; the late Anne Magadieu of Atchison, Kan., and the late Ruth M. Reams of Norfolk, Va. He also is survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
