Dear Editor:

Our local school system is a critical, foundational pillar of our community. As a parent of children who have graduated from the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD, I understand the importance of having a school committee that reflects our community values and Roy Tholl is the candidate that does just that.  Roy is owner of Roy’s Cottage Care in Boothbay Harbor, a business he founded several years ago after he and his wife Lisa permanently moved to the area. Roy has been an entrepreneur since his graduation from high school working mostly with heavy equipment as he founded and sold several companies.

Roy is a great guy - friendly, outgoing, hard working, a good listener, smart, practical and community oriented which is why he is running for school committee.  As a successful business owner, Roy understand fiscal responsibility while investing for the future.  These traits will serve him well in the role.

Roy will be a strong addition to our School Committee - please join me in voting for Roy Tholl.
