Dear Editor:

I was very pleased to learn that Roy Tholl is running for School Committee. He is a very friendly man with a warm personality and a genuine interest in our community.  His wife Lisa has deep roots in the region dating back to her youth and we are lucky to have them in our community permanently.

I was impressed how Roy used his high school education to build and sell several businesses - he understands the importance of the trades and how high school can prepare children for good-paying, local jobs.

We need new people with fresh thinking who will do the work to understand the needs of our children, the voices of their parents and will work collaboratively to solve the challenges we face in today’s education system.

Roy Tholl will do a great job on the School Committee and I encourage you to vote for Roy - I did.
