Dear Editor:

As a business owner in the harbor and a long-standing volunteer on the Friends of Windjammer Days committee, I would like to express my support for Mark Gimbel for Selectman. I have observed first hand his leadership skills and exceptional understanding of fiscal management. Always seeking input and creative in revenue generation, he has kept the nonprofit on budget and stays ahead of fiscal issues. Mark is an effective communicator and great at seeing the big picture. He is passionate about the town of Boothbay Harbor and has smart ideas to bolster economic growth. Gimbel has the experience to help the harbor navigate the current challenges facing the town including the police shortage and housing issues.
