Dear Editor:

If I was a resident of Boothbay Harbor, I would be marking my selectman's ballot for Mark Gimbel and Mark Osborn. Having been a year-round resident of the region since 1979 and working on the waterfront since the early 70s, I know both gentlemen very well. Both candidates are good businessmen and have the best interests of Boothbay Harbor residents and visitors in their minds at all times. They are both optimistic, creative with their thoughts and ideas for Boothbay Harbor's future.

Understanding the issues facing Boothbay Harbor are critical right now with housing, police force and parking.

Please make sure to vote on May 5.
