Dear Editor:

Erik Bertelsen is a well-respected and active member of our community who is seeking a Board of Selectmen position for Boothbay. He is aware of and shares with many of us similar concerns regarding the needs of our community, and because these concerns are interrelated, Erik believes a proactive, broad based thinking is needed.

We have known Erik and his wife, Abby Jones, for many years and are confident that Erik would bring an open mind and a collaborative approach to the challenges the town of Boothbay and its residents may face. He has our whole-hearted support, and we encourage you to consider Erik when you vote on May 1. We appreciate your consideration of this first-rate fellow.
