Vacation Bible School at Baptist Church Aug. 3-7
Young explorers are invited to “Son Spark Labs” Vacation Bible School from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, Aug. 3-7, at Boothbay Baptist Church. It is for children ages 4 up to and including those entering sixth grade, and all local children are welcome.
It will be a week of fun with Bible stories, songs, crafts, skits, games, snacks and much more, focused on the themes of science and exploration. Children’s imaginations will spark to life as they consider universal questions such as: “Who made the world and who made me?”; “What happens when I do wrong things?”; and “What is God like?” Each session will focus on one aspect of God’s Plan for You = Jesus! Or GP4U=J! Young scientists will participate in experiments and hands-on activities that help them get to know Jesus and God’s plan of salvation.
There will be a culminating program Friday evening, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. with sundaes and songs, to which family and friends are invited.
For more information or to register for this free (but priceless) program, call the church office, 207-633-7378, or director Doris South, 207-633-7514.
