Dear Editor:

Recently a dear friend and visitor to Boothbay Harbor fell off our porch resulting in fractured bones in both feet, a left ankle, and an injured right shoulder. We took her to urgent care at LincolnHealth St. Andrews and received the most excellent care. Emergency care is facing lots of challenges these days, but her care from the registration staff to the ED tech, the radiology tech, and her RN, Paula and Dr Curtis were superb. Their welcome greeting, assessment and diagnostics, the treatment plan and follow-up were impeccable. We are grateful especially when needing to care for a visitor that we have such a valuable urgent care team!
