Boothbay Region High School and Boothbay Region Elementary School have returned to remote learning beginning today, March 4, until Monday, March 15 due to a positive COVID-19 case, the schools announced on the AOS 98 website.

Students should log into their regularly scheduled classes starting at 9 a.m.

Bath Voc students will not be attending in-person classes but should plan to log on and check into their Bath Voc classes from home.

Attendance will be taken at the start of each period (following regular schedule). All students must log into each of their periods and attend classes 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students do not have to check-in to CORE at lunch.

In a letter from AOS Superintendent Keith Laser on Thursday morning, he said the plan is to reopen the schools on Monday, March 15, but “we are hopeful that we will be able to move this date forward as we learn more from the Maine CDC and Maine DOE. We will keep you informed.”
