At 1 p.m. today, David Joy of Hannaford said the store has reopened but no public restrooms will be available. Joy said a work crew is digging up the pavement near the Hannaford sign where the water line break appears to be.

Original post: A spokeswoman at the Boothbay Harbor Hannaford said a water line break near the store forced the closure of the store temporarily this morning.

“As soon as we are able to secure a couple of Port-a-potties we will be able to open,” said the spokeswoman.
