Trump: Liar in chief

Mon, 04/27/2020 - 3:15pm

    Dear Editor:

During the 2016 presidential campaign, other Republican contenders spoke of Donald Trump as a pathological liar, tax cheat, carnival barker, con artist, snake oil salesman and a crook. Most of them said he was not qualified to be president and they were right.

He has cheated many people out of their hard-earned money and has filed for bankruptcy six times.

In the last three years, according to a Washington Post fact checker, he has made over 17,000 false claims, stretches of truth and outright lies. It is time to wake up and boot him out of office.

Prominent Republicans like George Will, Steve Schmidt (McCain’s campaign advisor), David Jolly and many others have turned against him.

He brags about how smart he is — that is probably one of his biggest lies.

He claims he has a photographic memory, yet when questioned under oath before the Mueller investigation into his misdeeds, he answered 38 times either he could not recall or “I don’t remember.”

He called FBI agents “scum, human scum,” as he did to some of his Republican colleagues who didn’t agree with him.

He and Attorney General Barr also cooked the books on the Mueller investigation by saying he was totally exonerated, which was also a lie.

He has had the highest turnover rate of cabinet members and appointments than any president in history.

Donald Trump is nothing but a fake president.

He was told in early January of the coronavirus and did practically nothing, calling it a “Democratic hoax,” then later said it would be over in about two weeks when the weather warms up. The only thing Donald Trump is concerned about is his re-election. Now that the coronavirus is going full-speed, he holds daily briefings. These daily briefings are like a campaign event, where he and his vice president congratulate each other on the fine job they are doing.

He is no where near as smart as he claims he is and was, and never will be, qualified to serve as president.

Now is the time to swallow your pride and vote for someone else (anybody), otherwise you will be just as guilty as he is.
