Dear Editor:

Donald Trump has failed the American people. His lack of experience and refusal to be responsive to the best medical advice has threatened the welfare of our parents, children and selves. The president's late response and arrogant, cavalier remarks have cast profound doubt that he can lead this nation through this pandemic and crisis.

I am greatly concerned for my neighbor in his late eighties who is sequestered at home without personal care. I am terrified for the welfare of the young family with children who are self restricted in home without supplies and food. What about those trade persons, service workers who depend on the weekly income to survive, pay their mortgage, buy food and purchase medical supplies. Don't forget the first responders and medical community who morally and professionally will show up when called. Don't they deserve the best that this nation and elected leadership should provide?

The results of the coming November election may well be decided to date based on Trump's performance to this crisis. Dump Trump and vote for a healthy future.
