Tracy A. Hickey

Tracy Ann (Stockwell) Hickey, 56, of Franklin, Massachusetts died peacefully April 5, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was the wife of James F. Hickey for the past 29 years.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts Oct. 7, 1964, the daughter of Andrew C. Stockwell of Citrus Hills, Florida, and the late Barbara (Hanson) Stockwell, Tracy was raised in Hingham and lived in Franklin for the past 24 years.

She was a graduate of Hingham High School and Simmons College.

In addition to her husband and father she is survived by her sons Bryan A. and Bradley J. Hickey of Franklin. She is also survived by her sister Deborah Reardon of Norwell, her brother-in-law, Bob and nieces Katie and Sydnee.

The rock of her family, Tracy led her husband and two boys through life with her steadfast faith, love, guidance, and selfless predisposition.

A devout Catholic, she enjoyed serving the Cursillo community at St. Basil’s Salvatorian Center in Methuen and St. Mary’s in Franklin bringing others to Christ and enlightening them about the word of the Lord.

From a young age, she enjoyed spending her free time in Ocean Point, East Boothbay, Maine. Tracy loved walking her dogs along the ocean, tending her gardens, sitting at Grimes Cove and enjoying many of her most joyful moments.

Although Tracy battled with different health related issues, her commitment to stay healthy translated into her successful career as a fitness instructor where she was able to expand her reach in helping others in their own health challenges.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10 at St. Mary’s Church Franklin at noon. Beginning at 11:30 a Rosary will be prayed in Tracy’s honor. All are invited.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
