Dear Editor:

We wish to thank the anonymous donor who sent us $100 with the hope that it be used to help support Ukrainians in desperate need. The money was forwarded to the organization, HelpUkraine22, a group of volunteers doing heroic work to help people who have been caught in the gaps.

www.HelpUkraine22.org will open the website that describes the mission and kind of work being done by this organization that was started by Brian Mefford, an American businessman who decided to help the people he has lived among for the past 23 years.

It is not always easy to know what agency or organization to support in times like these but having a personal connection to Brian for more than a decade made our choice clear and simple. We thank you for your trust in that choice!
