Dear Editor:

I wish to say thank you and congratulate the Town of Boothbay on its excellent work done to repair Shore Road in East Boothbay. The last two storms caused unbelievable damage to the road. I drove up to inspect my property last Thursday, after Wednesday's storm and was so grateful and impressed with the amount of work the town was doing to get the road passable for fire and emergency vehicles as quickly as possible. Then to see all that work destroyed by the second storm this past weekend was so discouraging. The town, however, was not to be defeated. The road work photos I have seen online are amazing. 

Thank you, Town of Boothbay, for your dedication to keeping Ocean Point as safe as possible by, once again, removing boulders and filling holes and creating a road surface that will accommodate emergency vehicles and the full time residents until a brand new road can be built. I believe that every Ocean Pointer feels gratitude for the wonderful work you have done!
