Dear Editor:

We would like to thank the Southport Island Association Carolers for stopping by our home and sharing holiday cheer with our family. It was our first Christmas on the island and we had four generations with us all the way from England, Missouri, New York, Massachusetts, Florida and Maine ranging in age from 18 months to 84 years.

The carolers braved the extremely cold day to bring quintessential Maine charm to our family and filled our hearts with the spirit of Christmas. Thank you to all who came out.
