Tai-chi class begins Jan. 13
Tai-Chi Therapy Experience will be offered as a six-week course at St. Andrews Wellness & Rehab’s Wellness Center in Boothbay Harbor beginning Jan. 13. This is a tailored wellness program for all ages and abilities (ideal for beginners).
The Tai-Chi Therapy Experience provides the ABC’s of wellness: awareness awakening, body and brain balance and controlled coordination.
The program will be held on Tuesdays, 9 to 10 a.m. or 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Jan. 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10 and 17. Additional class times will be made available depending on interest.
All classes taught by John Jenkins, who has more than 40 years of successful experience in providing tailored inspirational seminars to learners and leaders of all ages and abilities. In addition to Jenkins’ lecturing and training throughout the U.S., Japan, and The People’s Republic of China, he is also a member of the Lewiston/Auburn Sports Hall of Fame, Maine State Sports Hall of Fame, and World Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
